KT Tunstall Is Back With ‘The River’

The ‘Big Black Horse and a Cherry Tree’ singer KT Tunstall is back with ‘The River’ and the announcement of a new album.

The ‘Big Black Horse and a Cherry Tree’ singer KT Tunstall is back with ‘The River’ and the announcement of a new album. Tunstall announced her new album Wax, due October 5th, with the release of her new song. We remember the first time we were introduced to her after Katherine McPhee sang her song on American Idol. We fell in love with Tunstall’s music and can’t wait for what her new work has to offer. She has not disappointed us yet with her work, always releasing amazing new music.

‘The River’ is an excellent track offering great lyrics on top of matching quality music. Here’s what Tunstall has to say about her new music, “It’s a record about human-ness, which we so often just write off as ‘flaws.’ Wax evokes colonies of bees, candlelight, the material that the first long-playing records were made of, but more than that, wax is produced inside your own head.” Tunstall is going deep for her next record, also calling it her most emotional, and we are sure it’s going to be raw in the best way. Listen to ‘The River’ below and share your reactions with us. We are currently listening to it on repeat!
