It looks like yet another actor has been signed on for Ryan Murphy’s pilot “Open.” The former Last Resort star Scott Speedman is the newest addition to the Glee and American Horror Story creators HBO pilot.
The 37-year-old actor, who also starred in Felicity, is set to play the role of Jonathan in the drama, a sports marketing executive reports Digital Spy. Speedman will star alongside The Hunger Games’ Wes Bentley in the show co-written by Dexter’s Lauren Gussis and Murphy.
According to DigitalSpy, The adult drama is “a modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships.” The pilot for Open was picked up in April by HBO, causing the cable channel to compete with other networks expressing interest in the sexually charged show.
Lauren Gussis (Dexter) wrote the script for the pilot with Glee and American Horror Story creator Murphy.
The show is set to star Wes Bentley, who is perhaps best known to international audiences for his role as Seneca Crane in The Hunger Games.
