TV Line has released new pictures from the upcoming season of Arrow.
As expected, Katie Cassidy’s character, Laurel Lance, will be out for revenge in Season 2 following Tommy’s tragic death. And she is blaming the Arrow for the crime. Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg spoke on set about Laurel saying, “Laurel’s joined the district attorney’s office…now that CNRI has been destroyed. Her mission at the top of the season is to bring down the Arrow.”
And in these photos, it looks like she has succeeded in her mission. In some of the photos, Oliver, who is dressed as Arrow, is surrounded by a S.W.A.T team as he faces Laurel. Luckily, Oliver isn’t one to fall into a trap, as, in the latest promo, we see Laurel telling Oliver her plan at Tommy’s grave, while she remains unaware that she is actually revealing her plan to the Arrow.
Other photos released were taken from episode 3, where according to TV Line, “Escaped convicted Barton Mathis (guest star Michael Ekund) grabs Felicity, and Roy crosses paths with a plucky gal dubbed Sin (The Killing’s Bex Taylor-Klaus).”
Kreisberg spoke about the new character during TV Line’s fall preview saying, “If the Arrow has Roy [as a potential sidekick], then Black Canary (to be played by Caity Lotz) has Sin.” He also revealed, “Truth be told, we were thinking of killing off [Sin} quickly, but now that we have Bex, we’re keeping her around.”
