The queen of reality tv is making her comeback with the network that gave her a platform in the first place… That’s right, Lauren Conrad is returning to MTV!

The star received her first break on the hit series Laguna Beach in 2004, detailing the lives of Conrad and a group of her high school friends that introduced teens to unprecedented levels of drama, antics and young love. After developing a following, Conrad made the move to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams in the fashion world, and MTV knew it was best to follow her new journey. The series The Hills became an instant success for Conrad’s honesty about her life that involved turbulence from friendships and her experience navigating through a city of endless opportunities. The Hills just celebrated it’s 10 year anniversary from the original air date, reminding us all that the show is reality tv gold because of such polarizing figures, relatability in the struggles of chasing your dreams and endless iconic quotes that can never be surpassed.

The series ran for six seasons (Lauren left during the fifth) and many wondered if the kindhearted entrepreneur would ever share her life on camera again. Luckily, the writer/tv personality/lifestyle blogger took to Instagram on the day of the original air date itself posting a photo of Conrad working on bridesmaids dresses with a cameraman behind her, captioning the photo with, Never thought I’d see the day….” tagging MTV and her fashion line known as Paper Crown. MTV has stayed fairly silent, but did suggest we keep an eye out for Lauren Conrad’s Instagram page on Tuesday, May 31, for more details surrounding this new and completely exciting development.

One thing is certain, any project that focuses on Conrad is something that is definitely worth watching – we’ve waited for six years and now it’s time for LC’s documented return!
