Rumors about Bad Boys 3 have been swirling around for quite some time, but have been especially culminating over the past couple of months. Spearheaded by a major hint given by Martin Lawrence on Facebook last month, fans of the modern cult classic series went absolutely nuts with excitement! They had every reason to as well: the series, featuring Lawrence and Will Smith as off-kilter (to say the least) narcotics detectives has never represented anything short of real laughs and thrills, as well as real box office magic! Well, now, we have something even firmer to grasp on, Bad Boys fans: official confirmation that a third film is in the works. News of the reveal reportedly went down during Lawrence's appearance on Conan last night (August 13). In a clip released by Team Coco thatwent up a few hours ago, Lawrence sits down with O'Brien and reveals that talks between he, Smith, and Michael Bay on a return to the series are "really real." Right now, it's unclear whether Smith's officially returning to the series, but given Lawrence's Facebook post from last July, it really won't be surprising at all when his return is inevitably confirmed and the dastardly duo is back in action! We've got a surprising amount of awesome action films coming our way over the next few years, and Bad Boys 3 is right at the top of the heap.
