Scarlett Byrne (@ScarleyByrne) who played Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter films and whom many of you will remember from LeakyCon ’11 Orlando (@LeakyCon) and LeakyCon ’13 Portland, is proud to announce her new beau, Cooper Hefner! In case you’re wondering whether Cooper is one of the Hefners, the answer is yes.
Cooper is Playboy creator and mogul Hugh Hefner’s son; his mother is 1989 Playmate of the Year, Kimberley Conrad. In 2012, Hef announced that Cooper would begin the process of taking over as the new public face for Playboy. Byrne’s relationship shift, along with her new role on TNT’s Falling Skies, puts forth a stark contrast to the young lady who used to do work for a series aimed at children, as Playboy and other pornography is most certainly only aimed at adults and remains morally controversial in the minds of many. Additionally, Playboy is notoriously misogynistic, a value system that is quite contrary to the major themes at play in both the Potter series and at LeakyCon.
So, what have Scarlett and Cooper been up to? Most recently, Cooper brought Scarlett home to the Playboy Mansion to share Thanksgiving dinner with his dear old dad. (See pics below from @cooperhefner‘s twitter.)
She also spent Halloween carving pumpkins and celebrating at the Playboy Mansion as well.

PopWrapped reached out to LeakyCon co-owner and public face Melissa Anelli (@MelissaAnelli) for comment on Scarlett and Cooper, but Anelli has yet to comment as of this writing. As a close personal friend of Byrne’s, and as a known champion against misogyny, we’re sure Anelli has an opinion about the relationship. What exactly that is, remains a mystery, at least for now.
