Martin Scorsese must be somewhat disappointed. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new financial thriller will not be ready for its expected November release date. The Departed director is really hoping that Paramount can try and push the film out for a possible Christmas release. This means that the other film Jack Ryan won't be able to come out until the end of January. Sadly for Scorsese, if Wolf of Wall Street gets pushed back any further, the film will not be eligible for any of the awards shows that take place next year. Leonardo Dicaprio stars in the film as Jordan Belfort, a real life stock broker who managed to become involved with committing a crime, not to mention corruption in the US Financial District. As for the film Jack Ryan, Kevin Costner, Chris Pine and Kiera Knightley will star in the film based off the Tom Clancy novel, which Paramount is hopeful that it will help to relaunch the franchise. Jack Ryan had been scheduled to be released on Christmas Day, but it looks like we won't see the new film until January 27th, Martin Luther King's birthday. Take a look at the trailer for Wolf of Wall Street below.
