Okay so we did not see this coming!

According to Deadline, Web Therapy star Lisa Kudrow will be logging out of her Skype account this year to play a powerful, smart politician on ABC’s highly addictive show, Scandal.

Whether she’ll be joining the Gladiators or conspiring against them we can’t say just yet.But we can tell you that Kudrow’s character will likely be named, Shelley Meyers.

We can’t wait to see a different, more dramatic side to Lisa Kudrow! Her new role also brings her closer to longterm producting partner, Dan Bucatinsky, who also is Emmy nominated for Scandal.

As if we weren’t excited enough for Season 3 to premiere at 10/9c, October 3.
