Hilary Duff is back in music for good and she is currently doing promo interviews and performances in Australia. Right now the songstress is promoting her latest single, “All About You”, and slowly bringing people into this new era of hers. During various appearances, the former Disney sweetheart not only sat down to perform an acoustic version of the track, but she also revealed some details regarding the release of her long-awaited comeback album.
When asked about her forthcoming record, Hil revealed that she should have the album out sometime around Christmas or the New Year, and furthermore she hopes to go on tour in February. Believe it or not, these are the most accurate details she has given so far regarding her album and the promotional campaign that will follow its release. It is exciting to finally have news, as she last put out a studio album and went on tour seven years ago.
Duff’s trip to Australia came with the first live performances of this new version of Hilary and a couple of days before the revealing interview, she sat down to perform an acoustic version of her folk-pop tune, “All About You”, for another show. Accompanied only by riffs and keys, the songstress sang beautifully with her cute little voice on top of the stripped down melody. She has never been considered the best of vocalists, but there is definitely a charm to her voice, isn’t there? Take a look at her performance below and see how she did.
