Little Princesses Tout The F-Bomb In The Name Of Feminism

Some people are in an uproar over the latest viral video – little girls dropping the f-bomb like it’s hot, pointing out gender discrimination.

If you’ve been on social media this week, which we’re sure you have been, you’ve come across the not-so Disney video that’s gone viral. A group of young girls, around 6 years old, draped in beads, pearls and tiaras are dropping the F-Bomb as a means of drawing attention to certain sexist injustices.

In the video these “potty mouth princesses” are dropping gems like,“Women make 23% less than men for the exact same f*cking work. I shouldn’t need a penis to get paid,” taking jabs at the fact that women still aren’t paid as much as men. And the girls go on to say that they are sure you’re worried about the profanity they’re using, but there are more important matters at hand.

Video producer Mike Kon comments, “Some adults may be uncomfortable with how these little girls are using a bad word for a good cause. It is shocking what they are saying, but the real shock is that women are still paid less than men for the same work in 2014, not the use of the F-word.”

While we are in a new age of feminism, some parents have responded in outrage, and it makes one wonder what other feminist leaders around the world think about this ‘little princesses’ tactic. Many feel that the overall message is lost due to the shock value of the R-rated video vs G-rated image it initially portrays.

What are your thoughts? Is this too much?
