IT'S AUNT BECKY!!
Actress Lori Loughlin spoke with 'Access Hollywood' about the highly anticipated (and just confirmed) revival of her classic sitcom "Full House".
Loughlin, who played Aunt Becky on the show, spoke about the series "Fuller House" being picked up at Netflix:
“First of all, they have been working on this for a while. It’s a spin-off idea that’s a flip on the original series,”
They made deals with Candace [Cameron Bure], Jodie [Sweetin], and Andrea [Barber]. I believe they just closed [John Stamos'] deal. I don’t have a deal. Dave doesn’t have a deal, Bob— we’re all in negotiations. We want to be there. We want to come back. It’s up to them. It’s not on us. It’s now on them.”
But, what did she have to say about Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen returning as Michelle?
“I don’t know that they want to do it. I don’t know what’s going on there,”
“They have really taken a step out of the acting world, and they’re concentrating on fashion.
Maybe they’re up for it, maybe they’re not…You only need one of them!”
She does make a very good point:
They would only need one of them to be able to bring Michelle back. What's not so surprising by Lori's comments however, is the fact she knows all about the others and their current contract states, but has no idea about the twins. It's evident that MK and Ashley have withdrawn themselves from their classic TV family.
The series "Fuller House" is set to hit Netflix in 2016 and will feature Bure, Sweetin and Barber as series regulars with the others looking to appear in recurring roles.
Will Mary Kate and Ashley return?
TIME WILL TELL!!
