Madonna Tour DVD Gets Recalled

Madonna fans all over are more than upset, since the diva's tour Blu-Ray DVD has been recalled here in the United States. The cause of the problem was an error in manufacturing, as reported by Digital Spy. Many fans complained that the sound and visual quality was poor, which led Interscope Records to conclude that the 5.1 audio had clearly been compromised. Interscope Records said: "Due to an error in manufacturing that has compromised the 5.1 audio in the Untied States, a full recall of the Blu-Ray disc will be issued in the United States. No other markets will be affected. We apologize for this inconvenience." As for all the other fans in other areas experiencing the same issues, the label added: "Interscope Records would to make consumers of Madonna's 'MDNA World Tour' Blu-Ray disc aware that the concert will be seen at it's most optimal quality by properly adjusting the settings on your television to 'Normal/Movie' mode, rather than 'Dynamic/Enhanced' mode. Older Blu-Ray players and or those without a firmware upgrade may experience glitches when navigating the Blu-Ray menu. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to upgrade firmware." Madonna's 'MDNA World Tour' DVD managed to debut at #1 on Billboard's Music Video Sales chart last week, after it sold over 11,000 copies.
