It is rare that an undeniable talent of A-Class caliber bursts onto the scene with such a force, that not even the strongest of storms could compare; yet that is exactly what has happened with international modeling juggernaut, Sergiu Ovcinicov. One of the great privileges of working in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles is getting to meet astounding and brilliant talent. Meeting Sergiu Ovcinicov was one of those exceptional moments.
Courtesy of Sergiu OvcinicovOvcinicov was born in 1989 in the Moldovan Soviet Socialist Republic, a part of the former Soviet Union. In 1991, just two years after Ovcinicov was born, the Soviet Union failed to exist as a country, and Moldova became its own country, albeit a very small one. While working as a lifeguard and swim instructor at a local pool, he was approached by the director of one of the most successful modeling agencies in Moldova, who knew that Ovcinicov had the look and attitude to become an international superstar as soon as he spotted him. After gaining national attention for his talent in modeling, dancing and acting, his agency realized he had appeared in every major magazine, and on every major runway and television show in Moldova. By the time they realized that Ovcinicov had done everything he could do in his home country, Ovcinicov had already began his quest to international super-stardom.

Courtesy of Sergiu OvcinicovIn 2011, Ovcinicov began taking regular bookings in Italy, specifically Rome and Milan, where he began working full-time as a model and dancer. He signed with the prestigious Beatrice Modeling Agency, whom immediately recognized his unique talent and began sending Ovcinicov on regular bookings throughout Italy; one of the most competitive modeling territories in all of the world. Ovcinicov shared the spotlight with Channing Tatum, Adrian Wilson and many others while signed to Beatrice Modeling Agency, and in a short period of time, learned to speak fluent Italian, one of five languages Ovcinicov is able to communicate in. After appearing on countless runways, stages and televised events in Italy, Ovcinicov took his career to Moscow, Russia in 2012, where he was greeted with even greater success, appearing on Billboards and television, including MTV Russia, and in an endless stream of Russia’s most famous fashion magazines. Ovcinicov was a regular presenter on Russian television, taking his unique look and extraordinary talent into millions of Russian households over a period of two years, before making his way to Hollywood, California in the fall of 2014.
