Songstress Mandy Moore confirmed through her rep that her six-year-long marriage to Ryan Adams is over, according to PEOPLE.

“Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage,” said her rep in a statement. “It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time.”

Moore and Adams were married in Savannah, GA in March of 2009. In March of 2014, the couple seemed happy as they celebrated with their friends, including Minka Kelly. A week before their anniversary in 2014, Moore shared with fans a photo of their marriage certificate with the words “The best five years…”

The news came down on Friday night, which also was the day that Adams appeared on The Late Late Show. The performance was pre-taped, however, and she performed the song Gimme Something Good.

We wish both Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams the best as they set off on different paths.
