As we are marching to the overly anticipated 100th episode of Glee, most of you might have noticed that one quite important and entertaining character has yet to be appreciated–Becky Jackson, portrayed by Lauren Potter.

We have to face the facts, her one liners and storyline in general are more than hilarious and make the whole audience laugh, sometimes more than two or three times per episode. In this current season, Becky has become a teenager, going through puberty, as she keeps calling everyone names. It’s not possible to overlook that Becky loves swearing and behaving like a usual teenage girl, which is not normally seen on TV. What we see with Becky its Glee trying to face reality and  include typical characters, who behave typically for their age.

I, myself, enjoy seeing plausible storylines on TV, and that’s why I fell in love with Glee in the first place. I feel like this has changed somewhere around the third and fourth season; however, in this season, the writers managed to get back to their original storytelling.  Rachel Berry and Santana Lopez’s behavior has fallen back into place, and most of the characters keep developing – maintaining their initial characteristics, and growing around them. As previously mentioned, Becky Jackson is the most plausible and typical character: she is now completely different from her initial introduction.

Lauren Potter manages to act out her one-liners so well that I cannot hold back my laughter whenever she is on my screen. I feel like she is way more confident than she used to be. It is not only hilarious to watch, it is also very refreshing. The way she acts, when she doesn’t even say anything, is extremely entertaining.

I really love Lauren Potter and her skills. Amazingly, her acting keeps getting better and her character doesn’t stop developing! Well done!
