Mariah Carey On ‘American Idol’: “It Was The Worst Experience Of My Life”

Mariah Carey’s never been once to mince words, so during a recent interview, she called her judging stint on American Idol the “worst experience of my life”

Cross one name off of next year’s grand finale list.

Mariah Carey sat down for a radio interview with Australia’s ‘The Kyle and Jackie Show’, and when talk turned to her judging stint on ‘American Idol’, Mimi didn’t hold back.

When asked if she would be returning next year in any capacity, Mariah fired:

“Hell no! Absolutely not. That was the worst experience of my life.”

Mariah also discussed her “feud” with fellow judge at the time Nicki Minaj, but was it all smoke and mirrors on the producers parts?

“I’m not going to get into what it was, but let’s just say I don’t think they had any intentions for us to have a good experience doing that show. Pitting two females against each other wasn’t cool,”

“It should have been about the contestants instead of about some nonexistent feud that turned into even more ridiculousness,”

“I would never want to be involved with it again. But everybody else did like it.”

Our beloved Mariah wasn’t finished discussing the show in general though, and continued:

“It’s so boring and so fake, I’m sorry. When I say it’s fake, I mean, I have to make up things to say about everybody. Half the time, the performances are good, you’ll just be like, ‘It was good.’”

Anybody still wondering if she’s still close with former judge Randy Jackson and what HE would think about what she said?

We can all agree on one thing however:

That season (which included Jackson as well as Keith Urban) was an absolute SHIT SHOW.

Right?
