Mark Ronson returned to the scene with a bang this year, dropping his brand-new, Bruno Mars-assisted single, "Uptown Funk". After receiving rave reviews upon its premiere, the two artists have now gone and premiered its music video.
The visuals for "Uptwon Funk" find Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars following the throwback, disco-pop flow of the track. The latter is joined by his well-known Hooligans in the streets to bust a move or two. They all later take it to the hairdresser's, so as to be prepared for their performance at night. Mark Ronson later brings them to the stage of a club for a show to remember.
"Uptown Funk" serves as the lead single from Mark Ronson's upcoming, fourth studio album, Uptown Special. With a lot calling it this year's "Get Lucky", the track is off to a great start and the accompanying clip is only here to help it do better. The imagery in it is so fitting to the sound that things can hardly go wrong.
