What’ll be up with John and Sherlock come the long awaited season 3 of Sherlock?
Martin Freeman says you can expect the same great dynamic between the two that we’ve come to know and love over the years.
“I guess you can’t play with it too much… because if it ain’t broken don’t fix it,” Freeman said in an interview with Digital Spy.
“Because their relation is the same whether it’s Conan Doyle or whether it’s us, you know, or any incarnation of it.”
“Our incarnation particularly is one of mutual admiration and antagonism,” he continued. “You see that they slightly drive each other mad with their ways, but they have a love for each other and an admiration for each other's qualities.”
The BFI in London recently hosted an early screening of “The Empty Hearse,” the first episode of Sherlock season 3, on December 15 ahead of its January 1 BBC One premiere date.
With only a little over three weeks to go, the cast and crew of Sherlock have definitely made their case that season 3 will come nothing short of fans’ expectations.
The season 3 premiere of Sherlock will air on BBC One in the UK on New Year’s Day and on PBS on January 19 in the US.
