Staff Writer@MovieUnchained Looks like Marvel and DC are going to become even bigger rivals. It was recently announced that the third film in the Captain America film series will open on the same day that the untitled sequel to last year's divisive Man of Steel. Both films are set to open on May 6th, 2016, which is a prime Summer blockbuster opening spot. But will both films really open on the same day, or will one of the studios push one to a different date to avoid a division of the box-office? If both films open on the same day, you can definitely expect to see opening box-office figures dwindling for both as viewers will be torn as to which film to view on the opening weekend, and its obvious Marvel is going to want to replicate Captain America: The Winter Soldier's incredible $300 million dollar debut. But for fans of Captain America who simply can't wait two more years to see Steve Rogers again need not worry - you'll be able to see him next year in the highly anticipated sequel to Marvel's mega-hit Avengers film, which is set to be released on May 1st, 2015.
