The Olsen twins posted their first selfie in six years on Sephora’s Instagram to raise awareness for their fashion line, Elizabeth and James.

After six long years of consciously not posting selfies on the internet, the Olsen twins have broken their streak.

The twins took over Sephora’s Instagram account, posting a picture of the two of them in their own pairs of suave sunglasses, citing the “First public selfie ever” of the #SephoraTakeover.

In another picture on the cosmetic company’s Instagram, the twins posted identical salads, captioned, “Refuel. Go local.”

The Olsen Twins have had their pictures taken on multiple occasions. They have been in the public eye ever since their appearance as sassy Michelle Tanner on Full House. 

They’ve appeared in several projects together, including Two of a Kind, The Little Rascals, How the West Was Fun, Double Double Toil and Trouble, To Grandmother’s House We Go, and Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, among others.

Since then, Mary Kate has starred as Tarra Lindman on Weeds and in the 2011 modern remake of Beauty and the Beast, Beastly, as Kendra the enchantress. She has gone on to popularize the “bohemian-bourgeois” look that was first picked up in Britain by Kate Moss and Sienna Miller. In 2006, she and Ashley were made the faces of the Badgley Mischka fashion line.

The twins have launched their own fashion lines, including The Row (named after London’s Savile Row), Elizabeth and James, J.C. Penny’s Olsenboye, and their StyleMint T-shirt line.

The Elizabeth and James fashion line teased the takeover of the Sephora account on Tuesday, hoping it would give their fans “a look into their day as Designers and Creative Directors of #elizabethandjames #mynirvana.”

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen do not have their own Instagram account, choosing to stay out of that particular spotlight. However, they are more than happy to endorse the companies that post behind-the-scenes looks of their fashion collections.
