Ease off the control stick!

A passenger’s erratic behavior forced a Virgin America flight from Boston to LAX to make an emergency landing in Omaha on September 22.

Reports state that 26-year-old Doug Adams of Woodside, California began disrupting the flight by muttering to himself, arguing with the passenger next to him, and masturbating in his seat. After a doctor on board took his blood pressure, Adams was moved to the back of the plane by the flight crew and two off-duty police officers. The move further agitated Adams, who then tried to open the emergency door. Adams was then restrained and the plane was forced to land.

Omaha police described Adams’ outburst as a “drug-related mental breakdown.” A Virgin America spokesperson attributed the emergency landing to a “medical incident involving a guest on board.” Passengers seated near Adams noted that the masturbating passenger was wearing a hospital bracelet.

Fortunately for all, the hypersexual passenger was handcuffed by local police as soon as the plane landed. Adams was then taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
