Toy collectors, get ready to make space for some new additions! Mattel is releasing new Wonder Woman toys that are so fantastic-looking they will definitely catch the eye (and wallet) of any fan.
The toys were unveiled to Entertainment Weekly ahead of their official debut to at New York Toy Fair in New York City next week. To celebrate the release of the Wonder Woman film in June, the new line is based on Gal Gadot’s portrayal and features dolls with multiple accessories, as well as human sized accessories, all at a relatively reasonable price.
$15 gets you the basic Wonder Woman doll, featuring the costume, but it doesn’t have her weapons. A fully armed get up with shield and sword will cost you $20, a mere five dollars more --certainly worth it for a combat-ready doll. There is also the two-pack of Diana and Steve Trevor, and you can also get Diana or Queen Hippolyta on horseback. All of these look relatively lifelike and would definitely be an impressive addition to any fan collection.
For those who want to take things to the next level and put themselves in Wonder Woman’s shoes, there are some human-sized accessories that will be made available alongside the release of the dolls. Mattel is also releasing a sword, bow, tiara, and bracers for the young (or young at heart) who want to pretend to be the famous DC superhero.
