The final season is really its own story and its own location, and while the New York stuff will be alive, the final season is not New York-centric at all. It really [will be] a lovely, fitting season that … dwells on the original people that were on the show and what happens to them and how they give back. That really is the last season. .… We'll revisit some of the new kids that came and went. There's a return of the Jane-Matt characters in a big way. It's really interesting, a very sweet, satisfying ending to the story. After all the ugliness with Kurt was over, Karofsky became a well-loved character on the show. The episode in which he tried to commit suicide after his new high school peers found out he was gay was one of the most moving and poignant episodes in the entire series. It also produced my favorite Blaine performance, ever. But if he IS really coming back as Blaine's partner, I can't imagine it's a move that will receive much love from Gleeks. We've been through everything with Kurt and Blaine and I think all we ever really wanted was for them to get their happily-ever-after. Though I can't say I'd be surprised to find out that this was just some juicy, white lie Murphy told to throw us all off. Or a dream sequence. Murphy REALLY loves his dream sequences. So, what say you, Gleeks? If Adler is back as Darren Criss's boyfriend, will you riot? Or are you excited to see how it all shakes out?
