Music fans, you heard it here: Meat Loaf has announced that he will be bringing his new show in for his Las Vegas residency. The stage show, “Rocktellz and Cocktails,” will open at the Planet Hollywood Hotel’s Showroom on February 13, 2014.
There are set to be 24 shows in total, and the singer assures us that he will be performing some of his more popular pieces.
“I had so much fun doing the show [in Las Vegas] in the fall, I couldn’t wait to extend my time in Vegas when they asked me to. For me, the show is more than just another concert because the ‘Rocktellz and Cocktails’ format allows me to add something different. I’m able to bring together music, acting and theater and do things you can’t normally do when you’re on the road. I get to have a lot of fun, and it definitely shows.”
The singer’s final performance in the UK this past August marked the beginning of the end of his career. He has decided to retire from show business, with “Rocktellz and Cocktails” being one of his final performances.
The stage show will run in select venues through April 8, 2014.
