Although the release of Transformers 4 is still more than ten months away from now, director Micheal Bay has released the first on-set photo! Titled “Just Another Day On The Set Of Transformers 4,” he posted the photo on his website.

The picture shows two of the new actors in the Transformers franchise – Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor – posing alongside the camera crew, director Michael Bay, and Director of Photography Amir Mokri.

Mark Wahlberg, who recently said that he considered his role in the film to be the most important role of his career, will take on the role of single father Cade, in what is supposed to become a second trilogy that is set four years after the events of Dark of the Moon.

In the meantime, Jack Reynor will play the boyfriend of Wahlberg’s daughter Tessa, played by Nicola Peltz, a relationship that will play a very prominent role in the film.

Transformers 4 is expected to be released on June 27th, 2014.
