She revealed to Harper’s Bazaar
: “I told my label: ‘This is the first I’m showing you what I’m bringing to the table as an artist. If this goes wrong, you never have to trust me again. I’ll be your little puppet. But if I’m right, then you know I’m on to something.”
Her new image may have turned off some fans, it seems to have worked in her favour so far.
Her music video for “We Can’t Stop” broke Vevo records by drawing nearly 11 million viewers on its release. She followed that up with, “Wrecking Ball.” It has achieved the feat of being the fastest video to reach 100 million views on Vevo within just six days.
Cyrus also assured that she is confident about the direction she’s heading with her music career.

As for her partying lifestyle, Cyrus implied that it could be a side effect of working full time in showbiz since being a child.
“I was an adult when I was supposed to be a kid. So now I’m an adult and I’m acting like a kid,” she said. “There are times when I’m sitting in my big ole house and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe I’m allowed to be here alone.’”
Miley Cyrus’ new album Bangerz
is scheduled for an October 8th release.
