Though it feels like it's been forever, apparently that is still not long enough to move on from the infamous performance that Miley Cyrus put on at this years MTV Video Music Awards. Last night, the pop singer was the host and the musical guest on Saturday Night Live and naturally there was a skit involving her poking fun of herself. The sketch involved a Disney-era Miley, played brilliantly by Vanessa Bayer, warning present day Miley that her provocative performance with Robin Thicke would have serious consequences. Though SNL isn't quite what it used to be, the sketch was pretty humorous due to Bayer's impression of Miley as well as cameos from Taran Killam as Robin Thicke and Jay Pharoah as Will Smith. Two other notable sketches on the show were the 50 Shades of Grey casting call where Miley impersonated Scarlett Johansson and the racy parody video called "We Did Stop (The Government)". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vC-HXAHUM3o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nu0D26yjgd0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ik1bdoufPt0 Another Miley moment on the show was her opening monologue where she stated that she would not be twerking because it is now lame since white people do it, wouldn't be doing anything Hannah Montana related but did let us know that Hannah Montana indeed was murdered and she also steered clear of her recent scrap with Sinead O'Connor.
