The news of a 7-year-old girl missing since Monday (Oct. 13) shocked the world earlier this week. However, according to new police reports, the young lady has been found and is totally safe.
Young Lilleona Rose Badtke lives in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. An earlier police statement reported her lost on Monday afternoon, when she was reportedly walking west on Georgia Avenue from Ninth Street. According to her stepmother, Lilly was coming back home from school with her sister and when the latter looked away, she was gone.
Thankfully, the little girl was found today (Oct. 14) and is safe and sound. Apparently, she showed up for class at Longfellow Elementary, telling the officials that she had spent the night at a friend’s house. As it seems, the friend’s family was unaware of the search warrant and there was some misunderstanding between the two families.
Lilly was confirmed as found this morning at 7:50 am.
