Instagram and the comments that frequent its posts seems to be the topic on everyone's mind. We've seen several celebrities, from Rowan Blanchard to Alyssa Milano to Lea Michele, take issue with ignorant or hurtful words attached to their well-meaning pictures.
But trolls aren't only after television stars. They recently took issue with MAC Cosmetics, who posted a pair of beautiful dark lips displaying the line's brand new shade of lipstick. It comes as no surprise that these trolls have also started taking issue with models.
Iskra Lawrence, considered a "plus-sized model," has abs most women (and men) would pay good money for. She is frequently found at the gym, and enjoys a healthy diet of salad, fruit, and pizza.
You know, like a normal, healthy person.
Even so, one troll posted a nasty, fat-shaming comment on a recent Instagram photo. But instead of getting mad or even, Lawrence just posted another photo – of her covered in bags of crisps and loving it!
The post reads:
'I'm sorry I couldn't help myself...This is for anyone who has ever been called FAT.
'Thanks for the inspirational words on a recent pic @zseanzbrown: "Fat cow. It's only cus every F****r on this planet is obese that that's the norm... Plus-size models? give me a F*****g breaking. Everyone needs to stop eating McDonald's, the NHS is f****d because of people like her eating too many bags of crisps."
'Opinions are like a**eholes - everyone's got one.'
Even though Lawrence admits she had a really good time with the photo, she was quick to say that she does not "condone binge eating. I eat whatever I want in moderation. I will eat crisps, but I’ll also make healthy home cooked meals and work out regularly."
"The message is: Who gives a F what anyone else thinks of you? YOU are the only one who decides your self-worth."
Lawrence's Instagram is full of more than just her modeling shots. You can see several photos and videos of her workouts.
Besides, what's a crisp or two after the gym?
