Less than a week on from the latest adaptation of one of his books, Paper Towns hitting theaters, excitement is surrounding the rumours of possible casting for characters in John Green's first young-adult book to be made into film, Looking For Alaska.
Sources have said that both Nicola Peltz (Bates Motel) and Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Fury Road) are testing for the part of Alaska, but face stiff competition from Anya Taylor-Joy (Atlantis) and Immy Waterhouse.
They also suggest that the two lead hopefuls for the role of Miles are Mitchell Hope (Descendants) and Charlie Rowe (Never Let Me Go) and have reported that John D'Leo (Wanderlust) and Logan Miller are vying for the role of Chip 'The Colonel' Martin, Miles' roommate.
It must be stated however that no decisions have been made as yet. There was once a buzz about Taylor Swift signing on, but that has been quieted since John took to his Twitter to explain he has no control over that and was merely making a joke when he mentioned it.
The book Looking For Alaska was published in 2005 and is being adapted for the screen by the same writing team behind both Paper Towns and The Fault In Our Stars.
No release date has been announced yet, but the film is expected to be released sometime next year.
