Oh yes, it's Monday again and we know you wanted the weekend to last a bit longer. Hopefully, our #MusicMonday playlist will keep you in the mood with everything worth-hearing at the moment."Silhouettes In Slow Motion" - CILIA It seems like the Swedish can do no wrong when it comes to their artists and the up and coming Cilia is no exception. This week’s scandi-pop arrives in "Sihlouettes In Slow Motion". a quite upbeat and synth-heavy alt-pop number. The songstress is found singing beautifully sweet the romantic lyrics about that perfect man of the movies girls usually fall for but will never find, on top of the ethereal melody. https://soundcloud.com/ciliaofficial/silhouettes-in-slow-motion#t=3:10
"Black And White" - Liam Horne
After working behind the scenes for a whole lot of well-known artists, Liam Horne is making a name for himself with brand-new single "Black And White", coming from an upcoming EP. The electro-urban production is a perfect, hard-hitting combination of synths, bass and electric guitar, with the significant tone of his vocals adding a pop flavor to the overall flow. It’s the explosive kind of fresh track that you really need to hear.https://soundcloud.com/liamhorne/black-and-white/s-Yz7uS
"Relationship Goals" - Vanessa White feat. Chloe Martini
You probably know Vanessa White as a member of The Saturdays and the best vocalist of the group, but she’s now released a solo track that isn’t a single with Chloe Martini. Being the first sample from her upcoming material, "Relationship Goals" finds her singing about her perfect match on top of a sultry R&B production, a much more grown-up and mature sound than the group’s pop. Despite not showing off her vocal range here, she still sounds fantastic.https://soundcloud.com/vanessawhiteofficial/relationship-goals-feat-chloe-martini-1
"Fool" - BØRNS
Garret Borns aka BØRNS is preparing to release his debut album Dopamine next month and the latest sample from it comes in closing track “Fool”. The song is extremely upbeat and uplifting in terms of melody, with some serious drum beat driving the production of piano keys and electric guitar riffs. His vocals melt like sweet butter all over the funky and jingling kind of tune, making this extremely catchy and jam-worthy.
"Natural Born Lovers" - Erik Hassle
There is no denying that Erik Hassle knows how to do romance a bit better than most artists of his kind out there today and the case remains the same as he strikes again with "Natural Born Lovers". The crooner is now found making passionate use of his exquisite falsetto on the Stargate-crafted tune, that could very well be taken for a hit from the 80′s, as it would be no stranger on one of Prince’s albums.
"Zero" - Chris Brown
When he’s not busy assisting everyone and their mothers with a guest verse, Chris Brown is promoting his upcoming recrod Royalty. Now he’s dropped another single titled "Zero", with lyrics about a girl he was in love with but didn’t deserve a single thing, let alone a second chance. The production is upbeat, with funky strings and electronic synths, and finds Breezy singing with vocoder and delivering some smooth, Daft Punk-like disco vibes.
"Cake By The Ocean" - DNCE
There was no way DNCE wouldn’t have built enough hype around their debut single, "Cake By The Ocean", since Joe Jonas is a bandmate. The clap-heavy tune involves some serious riffs, keys and drums in its production, making for the perfect groovy pop tune that flirts with some sweet R&B. As if that weren’t enough, Joe is on the vocals and his falsetto does wonders on the extremely catchy chorus hook.
"All For Love" - Madison Beer feat Jack & Jack
Madison Beer arrived to the scene as Justin Bieber’s protégé and she’s now returning with a more grown-up and massive sound. The radio-friendly Jack & Jack-assisted "All For Love" is a sexy and breathy kind of dance-pop midtempo with a major chorus hook and a rap verse courtesy of her boyfriend’s duo, which further adds to the overall flow. It sounds extremely soundtrack-ready as well and the cinematic visuals might be to blame.
"Runnin’ (Lose It All)" - Naughty Boy feat. Beyoncé & Arrow Benjamin
For his brand-new single "Runnin’ (Lose It All)", Naughty Boy managed to enlist the likes of Beyoncé and Arrow Benjamin on vocal duties, crafting a powerful dancified ballad. The track kicks off with minimal piano keys, before it picks up on the hook and goes upbeat. Both vocalists compliment the melody with their romantic yet melancholic renditions and their vocals blend beautifully together.
"Automatic" - ZHU & AlunaGeorge
ZHU has joined his forces with AlunaGeorge for brand-new Genesis cut, "Automatic", and the result is amazing. A perfect combination of keys, riffs, synths and bass make for an insane electro-pop tune, with dreamy vocals to go by. Experimentation obviously went wild on this next-level cut, with an out-of-nowhere saxophone solo falling right into place and unexpectedly working in favor of the overall sound.
