A new week has just begun with another Monday and we know it’s about to bring you down. Before it does, grab a big cup of coffee and start your day by taking a listen to all the new tunes you need, only on PopWrapped’s #MusicMonday.

“Hot” – Powers

LA-based duo Powers, formed by Mike Del Rio and Crista Ru, has graced us with the first sample from their upcoming, debut EP Legendary. “Hot” is an incredibly catchy piece of electro-pop magic, complete with some synths, funky beats and an insanely addictive chorus. It’s amazing how it combines a variety of elements to create something unique and so irresistibly good. All you need is a single spin to be convinced.

“Sayonara” – Rebecca & Fiona

After last year’s Beauty Is Pain and a couple of collaborations, Swedish duo Rebecca & Fiona are now kicking off the promotion of their third record with “Sayonara”. This one finds the two introducing a fresh, EDM-less sound, with a more indie-pop approach. With the required hard-hitting beats and electronic elements, along with a chanty chorus, this is as Icona Pop/Charli XCX as it gets, only more laid-back.

“SEEDS” – Wolfie

London-based newcomer Wolfie arrived to the music world earlier this year, but she’s now caught BBC Radio 1′s attention and premiered her new song “SEEDS” on the station. The songstress drops some badass lyrics on top of an electro-urban production, with serious R&B elements and a slow-burning kind of melody. Her vocals melt like soft butter on the euphoric chorus, while she sounds even better with less production elements on the bridge.

“Intention” – Kiiara

After blessing us with “Gold”“Tennessee” and “Feels” this past summer, Kiiara is ready to conquere fall as well with another new tune, titled “Intention”. The Casper & B-crafted production serves as a perfect combination of an electro-pop melody and some soft-R&B vibes. There’s an elegance to the track’s overall smoothness, while her significant vocals further add to its flow.

“Why” – HURTS

As you should probably know by now, Hurts have made a comeback with their third record Surrender and as expected after their work with Calvin Harris, they’re up to some lighter stuff. “Why” is a perfect example of that, as the duo takes their synth-pop to a more radio-friendly place with some new-found electro-funk pop vibes that would make Daft Punk proud. Don’t mind the catchy chorus though, as the melancholy is still there to some extent.

“Fall In Love” – Benjamin Ingrosso

Benjamin Ingrosso is an up and coming artist from Sweden, cousin of Swedish House Mafia’s Sebastian Ingrosso, and that should be enough. The singer makes his debut with “Fall In Love”, a track that kicks off with some heavy piano keys and dramatic strings here and there, with a steady beat building all the way to the extremely anthemic chorus. He sings the romantic lyrics beautifully here, making it on our list as one to watch.

“Other Girls” – CAPPA

After the release of her self-titled EP, CAPPA (a.k.a. Carla Cappa) strikes back with a brand-new offering, called “Other Girls”. This one is pure electro-pop magic, with repetitive lyrics and some hand-clapping to go by. The pulsing beats fit perfectly in the synth-heavy production, which has some kind of an endless flow throughout and paves the way beautifully for the songstress to sing her badass lyrics on top.

“Something In The Way You Move” – Ellie Goulding

After kicking off her Delirium era with “On My Mind”, a song that wasn’t my cup of tea, Ellie Goulding makes it up to me with “Something In The Way You Move”. The songstress keeps her radio-pop sound strong here, as she cheerfully sings an ode to a guy she’s falling for, on top of a synth-filled electro-pop production. The bridge is also a more ethereal affair, paving the way for that last chorus perfectly.

“Where I Wanna Be” – A R I Z O N A

New Jersey’s hot new band A R I Z O N A is preparing for a major debut, finally pushing for more of a crossover with new single “Where I Wanna Be”. The track involves a sweet, chilled-out electro-house production, filled with some serious summer vibes that will make you nostalgic all over its catchy melody. A really atmospheric and ethereal tune, with some beautiful vocals to go by

“Keep Me In Mind” – Cape Cub

Up and coming, English indie-pop singer/songwriter Cape Cub (a.k.a. Chad Male) is slowly making their way to the scene and has now unveiled another sample from his debut EP, titled “Keep Me In Mind”. Minimal riffs and soft piano keys pave the way for a vocal rendition that’s heavy on emotion, as he sings about the ones he doesn’t want to be forgotten by. The track follows his earlier material and only takes it to the next level, with a melancholic yet soothing sound.
