With releases from the likes of Rihanna, Ferras, Austin Mahone, r.e.l., and many others this week’s #MusicMonday is full of hits. Listen here!

Another week goes by, and we’re celebrating with another hit-filled #MusicMonday playlist!

This week has seen massive releases from the likes of Rihanna, Troye Sivan and Alessia Cara, Nina Sky, Austin Mahone, Ferras, and many others. We’ve compiled the hottest dance tracks, slinkiest slow burners, empowering anthems, and contemplative ballads for your listening pleasure below!

Rihanna – “Sledgehammer”

Rihanna is kicking off this week’s #MusicMonday with her Star Track Beyond contribution, “Sledgehammer.” The Sia-penned track is an intergalactic power ballad the delivers some of Ri Ri’s most empowering vocals to date. The track sees the ANTi songstress facing off against her greatest fears and coming out on top. “You’re just another brick, and I’m a sledgehammer” the songstress confidently proclaims on the earworm of a chorus. It’s a solid offering from Rihanna and has the potential to become yet another of her track’s battling it out on the charts this summer.

r.e.l. – “Factory”

Dreamy evoca-pop siren r.e.l. explores the life of a 21st century feminist on new release “Factory.” The track is our first taste of what to expect from the artist in the coming year, and it’s another promising release from the budding talent. Delivering an impassioned vocal performance over a forward thinking electro-kissed production, r.e.l. showcases her skills and takes a stance against those who expect women to fall back in line. It’s an impressive and evocative release that is bound to incite the masses with it’s empowering message.

Fletcher – “Avalanche”

New Jersey based up and comer Fletcher continues her indie-pop takeover with her latest effort “Avalanche.” On the triumphant release the “War Paint” songstress welcomes a new lover onto a wild ride deeper into their relationship. “Go ahead and close your eyes / the thunder will pass us by / it’s beautiful to fall apart” she warmly croons across the instrumentation before taking a free for all ride into love. It’s a lovely release and a sonic free for all complete with lush vocals and a bright, anthemic delivery.

Matoma feat. Becky Hill – “False Alarm”

Norway producer Matoma teamed up with UK songstress Becky Hill for a feel good lover’s anthem on their #MusicMonday contribution “False Alarm.” The electronic anthem sees Hill singing about how wildly in love she has fallen before proclaiming her confidence in the relationship. “I’m dancing in flames / I ain’t scared of the blaze / don’t rescue me / and now I’m burning in your arms / endless fire in my heart / no it’s not a false alarm” Hill sweetly coos on the chorus, delivering some of the most endearing lyrics of the year thus far.

Ferras – “Closer”

As the first artist signed to Katy Perry’s Metamorphosis Music venture with Capital Records, Ferras has reemerged on the scene with new single “Closer.” The track sees the artist pleading for an opportunity to hold his beloved by his side. His vocals are crystalline as they float over the soundscape, and it’s hard to imagine turning this crooner down. The track has serious potential to blow up on radio in the coming months, and we’re predicting big things from the artist’s impending releases.

Era Istrefi – “Bonbon”

Albanian Kosovar siren Era Istrefi achieved international acclaim with the release of current single “Bonbon,” and the hitmaker is riding out the success with her first #MusicMonday appearance for the single. The dance floor track is delivered primarily in Albanian; however, the bright production drew comparisons to Rihanna and Sia. On the track the songstress lets loose and has some fun after ditching an ex. It’s a fun and playful release, one that’s earned the artist a recording contract in the US and undoubtedly will spawn a slew of new hits.

Dizzee Rascal feat. Calvin Harris – “Hype”

Calvin Harris teams up with Dizzee Rascal to keep things “Hype” on his first post-breakup release. Although some may expect him to be heartbroken over the end of his relationship with Taylor Swift, Harris is defiantly upbeat on the explosive dance floor anthem. His production is tailored for dropping it like you stole it on the dance floor, and Dizzee Rascal’s delivery is equally electrifying. It’s safe to say that Harris and potential new flings will have something to dance to on future first dates.

Troye Sivan feat. Alessia Cara – “WILD”

Pop’s hottest up and comers Troye Sivan and Alessia Cara teamed up to record a remixed, reimagined, and truly exceptional new edition of Sivan’s single “WILD.” Remaining true to the track’s original recording, Alessia delivers a solo verse as well as some gorgeous harmonies. As a duet the track takes on a new level of depth and soul, and we’re hoping that the twosome hit the studio again to record an original track in the future! As it stands, the duet will hopefully give the single a push to rise further up the charts.

Wrabel – “11 Blocks”

Pop music has a new crooner on the horizon, and he has the Kesha seal of approval. On the rise hitmaker Wrabel is making his #MusicMonday debut with current single “11 Blocks.” The striding cut deals with heartbreak and moving on from a failed relationship. “11 blocks from my door to your doorstep / three years later and it feels too close” he laments as the opening track.

Nina Sky – “Champion Lover”

Pop duo Nina Sky are hoping to reclaim their spot atop the charts with their new single “Champion Lover.” The twin sisters are bringing it back with a bright and tropical dance floor anthem custom made for a summer of celebrations. While it may not be as immediately stand out as 2004’s “Move Your Body,” it’s got serious hit potential nonetheless.

Jump Smokers feat. Austin Mahone – “Deserve Better”

Teen heartthrob Austin Mahone teamed up with production duo Jump Smokers to craft #MusicMonday’s must listen breakup anthem “Deserve Better.” Beginning with the somber keys of the piano, the track rapidly descends into a danceable production as Mahone proclaims that he could do better than his old flame. It’s a heartfelt delivery and an addictive production that will give the track serious hit potential in the coming months.

Soleima – “Wasted”

Danish rising talent Soleima makes an impression and lets go of her inhibitions with her breezy summer anthem “Wasted.” The breezy track sees the songstress enjoying a drink or two and praying that she doesn’t drown while she floats away in a relaxed buzz. It’s the perfect track for poolside imbibing, and a fun listen from another international rising talent.

Dillon Francis feat. Snappy Jit – “Candy”

Dillon Francis and Snappy Jit are providing #MusicMonday’s dirtiest beat of the year with new single “Candy.” The track is a delectably unhinged dance floor anthem with a twerkable production and nonsensical lyrics. It’s an addictive and fun release that is bound to have you leaving your inhibitions behind upon first listen.

Billie Eilish – “Six Feet Under”

Closing out this week’s #MusicMonday is Los Angeles-born rising talent, Billie Eilish. The fourteen year old songstress made waves with her moody debut earlier this year, and her new single “Six Feet Under” is a second exceptional release with a contemplative lyricism. “Our love is six feet under” the songstress whispers across the dreamy production. The soundscape is well composed and delicately floats across the ears in a way that promises a massive future for the young talent.
