Two power rockers joined the legendary music group in Sin City for the finale of the iHeartRadio Festival.

Fun’s Nate Ruess and pop superstar Adam Lambert were the two lucky performers who teamed up with Queen for a stunning celebration of music.

While Ruess only performed two songs in the set: “Somebody to Love” and “ Fat Bottomed Girls”, all eyes were on the American Idol alum as he made his US debut as Queen’s latest frontman.

Before the show, Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor talked to Rolling Stone’s Steve Baltin about how Lambert is bringing his own style to the role as a frontman.

“He does bring his own approach and he has this amazing range, a gymnastic, beautiful tone and he really fits our material so well.” Said Taylor.

“Adam has all the elements – he has the passion, he has the humor, a little bit of camp. And when the shots are down, he has the power. It is incredible.” Added May.

Among the songs that Lambert “slayed” (according to the Hollywood Reporter) included “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “We Will Rock You” and “Who Wants to Live Forever.”
