UPDATE, MONDAY 12PM EST: As of right now,

trailer for This Is Us appears to be unstoppable, with no signs of slowing down. We have been told that the trailer already has more than 60 million views from Facebook, YouTube and It appears we are witnessing a phenomenon. Be sure to check out the trailer below.

NBC’s new show This Is Us has shattered the record previously held by the CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. In only a week since the show’s trailer was released, it has garnered more than 37 million views on its Facebook page. The trailer also has almost 6 million views on YouTube, and it is also featured on NBC’s website.

Last year’s trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow got a little bit over 4 million views in its first week after it was released, so This Is Us has destroyed that record with its numbers.

This Is Us is a one-hour dramedy written and executive produced by Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love). John Requa (Focus; Crazy, Stupid, Love) and Glenn Ficarra, (Focus; Crazy, Stupid, Love) will direct and executive produce. Also executive producing are Jess Rosenthal (Fire with Fire) and Charlie Gogolak (Focus).

The show stars Mandy Moore (A Walk to Remember, Tangled), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, Gilmore Girls), Justin Hartley (Smallville, Revenge), relative newcomer and future breakout star Chrissy Metz (American Horror Story), and the extraordinary Sterling K. Brown (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story), who we are most excited about.

The show is described as a “refreshingly honest and provocative series [that] follows a unique ensemble. And as their paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways, we find that several of them share the same birthday - and so much more than anyone would expect.”

We are so excited not only for the show itself but also because of how much people are apparently liking it and looking forward to it. Unlike previous record holder DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and other freshmen shows - such as Prison Break, Lethal Weapon, the 24 reboot, among others - This Is Us has had a small marketing campaign and it has no recognizable characters or title. The amount of people who have been checking out the trailer of the show have been doing it on merit alone, and we are all for that.

The exceedingly watched trailer is beautiful, as it shows the highs and lows we all go through in this life. We see the struggle of a married couple expecting triplets, of a young woman attempting to lose weight, of a man trying to connect with his long-lost father and of an actor playboy who has had enough of his empty life. It makes us laugh, cry and feel. Jason Mraz’s I Won’t Give Up does a great job of continuing to move us to tears, displaying how important music is when it comes to scoring visual content. It really is one of the best trailers of this upcoming TV season, if not the best. We hope it translates to the series as a whole.

Take a look at the trailer below:

This Is Us will air Tuesdays at 9pm on NBC. Don’t miss it.
