For the first time ever, Nerd HQ and the popular philanthropic panel series, "Conversations for a Cause" will be covered via Live.me at Comic-Con, the live broadcasting app for Android and iOS.

Anyone unable to join Zachary Levi and David Coleman's The Nerd Machine at San Diego Comic-Con can log onto the app and enjoy live coverage of some of their favorite celebrities, including:

Zachary Levi,

Nathan Fillion,

Joss Whedon,

Jai Courtney, and

Felicia Day.

Joining these well-known individuals are cast members from Colony, Orphan Black, Teen Wolf, Supernatural, Workaholics, Drunk History, and others.

Live.me will stand out during SDCC 2016 because of its in-app gift exchange feature. Viewers of the live stream feed will be able to buy and give gifts to Livecasters, with all proceeds from these purchases going directly to Operation Smile.

Operation Smile "has provided more than 220,000 free surgical procedures for children and young adults born with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities." Viewers will be happy to know exactly where their money is going while also enjoying exclusive interviews and behind the scenes footage.

According to Nerd HQ, this will be their sixth year attending one of the largest fan conventions in San Diego. The Nerd Machine will be returning to the New Children's Museum, complete with games, panels, and new partners. They will be there for the duration of Comic-Con (July 21-24) with several partner companies, including AMD and Xbox.

Xbox will bring several games for fans to try, including Battlefield 1 (courtesy of EA and DICE) and Xbox One's Gears of War 4. Other games include:

-Halo Wars 2

-Titanfall 2

-Dead Rising 4

-ReCore

-Minecraft: Xbox One Edition

Square Enix Collective will also bring The Turing Test and Black the Fall. Nerd HQ will also expand its already fan-centric gaming platform with an all-new VR gaming lounge, which will be located on the upper level and include the new Oculus Rift.

For a more immersive experience, fans can download the NERD HQ APP, available this month. This app brings the company's "Donate a Photo" and the "Smiles for Smiles" campaign in order to raise funds for Operation Smile.

So whether you're just in town for the epic Nerd HQ dance parties, the panels, or just to catch a glimpse of your favorite celebrity crush(es), Comic-Con and Live.me have a niche for everyone.
