It's been quite the year for Netflix thus far, with 2015 seeing them really getting into their stride with their original programming slate. If House of Cards and Orange is the New Black weren't enough for us all, they've added new big hitters like Bloodline, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Sense8, Daredevil, and now Narcos into our marathoning schedules.... it's OK, we didn't need to sleep any way!
The newest addition to the increasingly impressive lineup of Netflix shows stars Wagner Moura (Elysium) as Pablo Escobar, the real-life drug lord behind a multi-billion dollar Columbian Cartel, and looks to span the decades chronicling the rise of Escobar and his drug empire. The 10-episode run is directed by Jose Padilha (Elite Squad), following in the footsteps of True Detective with a sole director taking the reins for the full season. It also stars Game of Throne's Pedro Pascal, which is never a bad thing.
