After the success of Daredevil on the popular streaming service, Netflix's second Marvel adaptation Jessica Jones is a very anticipated one. We do not have to wait much longer, as they have now confirmed when the series will be available for streaming.
The new series starring Krysten Ritter as the titular ex-superhero will be released on the 20th of November this year, and will tell the story of Jessica as she tries to run her new detective agency, as well as adjusting to a normal life.
The teaser video does not give us footage from the show itself, but gives us a flavor of what to expect in the form of a very dark and mysterious look into the main protagonist's twisted world.
Glimpses of a grimy Hell's Kitchen and the expected themes are included in the trailer, all through a stark scheme of dark purple synonymous with the character. The very cool backing track is also laced with whispers, possibly from Zebediah Kilgrave (more commonly known as 'The Purple Man') played by David Tennant, the shows main antagonist.
The show will also star Mike Colter as Luke Cage, who will star in his own series following Jessica Jones.
