Last week the drama continued on ABC’s hit series, Nashville
. I don’t know if it’s just my love of Country music, my love of Nashville, or my love of Hayden Panettiere that sucks me in, but this is seriously one of my favorite shows!
Rayna finale heads home after four weeks in the hospital following the car accident that left her in a coma. Juliette is promoting her album clearly trying to stay head of the emotional train that could keep Rayna ahead of her in sales and spotlight. And Lord only knows, she won’t let that happen.
The executive at Edge Hill got the boot, which means there is new blood to deal with. Scarlett and Will’s record deals, and Rayna’s label (Highway 65), are at stake; and even Juliette’s career could be in limbo thanks to the new head hauncho. But, after their meetings with the new guy, it seems the only one that should be worried is Miss Barnes; and even Will may be getting a sweeter deal than he originally thought, if he makes the “right” choice.
It would also appear Will’s almost-gay-kiss from the premiere was with the new marketing guru at Edge Hill; he is bound to be around for more drama that could lead to an epic coming out of the closet story for our rising country star. Things heat up with Rayna and the new boss after he approaches Will to convince him to leave Rayna and join him at Edge Hill…looks like the ball is in Will’s court (in more ways than one). Rayna gave him a pep talk that would have worked on me and, honestly, I was surprised he didn’t spill the beans on his big secret!

Teddy and Rayne spent a lot more time with each other as he has been around helping her out while she recovers; but she can’t be sure if this is the start of a mended relationship or just a little tease before another “Deacon/Teddy” storm.
Speaking of Deacon, he’s home from prison and still managing to take out his pent up aggression on Scarlett, who has decided to move in with her uncle to take care of him while he recovers. She’s definitely showing him whose boss and puts her boot down a couple times to keep him in his place.
Juliette decided to head off to Alabama to show the world a behind-the-scenes look at where she came from, hoping this will suffice in upping her ranks at Edge Hill and boosting her faltering record sales. It might prove to be a more difficult, and emotional, task than she originally thought as she reconnects to her past.

While one of Scarlett’s exes in on the road with Juliette, the other one is using his recent heartbreak to reinvent his career.
So to wrap it up; Will chose Edge Hill over Rayna in a fairly surprising move, Scarlett finds out Deacon is Maddie’s father, Juliette’s big promotional idea got her to number one on iTunes but the record chief brought in a new girl to give her a run for her tween-queen title (who stole the number one spot back that same night) and Deacon sells all his guitars and saws off his cast to start playing again and….Rayna seems to have an ace up her sleeve to get back on top.
Tune in tonight at 10 EST to see what happens next on Nashville
