As we ready ourselves for the newest season of The Voice, you can be sure the celebrity judges are, too. That’s right! Three coaches have already selected their guest mentors for the upcoming season of NBC's popular singing competition. Shakira and Usher will be filling in the big red chairs for Christina and Cee Lo, just like they had for season 4, and be judging alongside Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine; and country crooner, Blake Shelton. Celebrity mentors, of the judges’ choosing, will be helping each team “through the battle and knockout rounds.” Helping out Team Shakira will be platinum-selling country artist, Miranda Lambert. Yes, the country diva will help coach against her husband, Blake. Although she helped him during season 2, this season she will combine her knowledge and many talents with the "Hips Don't Lie" singer. But Blake doesn’t seem to be too worried, as he’s enlisted in the help of not just one person, but three. Up and coming country group, The Band Perry, will be joining Team Blake as he looks to capture a fourth winner this season. Team Usher will be graced with the help of Grammy-winning R&B artist, Jill Scott, who says she’s super excited to be stepping into the role of a coach. Scott told Extra TV in an interview, “When Usher calls, you take the call,” explaining how this opportunity was something she simply could not turn down. No word yet on Team Adam’s celebrity mentor, but whoever they are, we're sure they're amazing! What do you think of this season’s guest mentors? Tune in to all of the action when The Voice premieres on February 24 on NBC. Keep up with PopWrapped on the web!
