Get excited, DC fans: Fox has released a totally new trailer for Gotham! This trailer, which you can watch below, hints at darker scenes, shows plans for the iconic Arkham Asylum, and even introduces us to new villains! So much excitement! Starting out, the trailer shows us a montage of the episodes we've seen so far, and then it proceeds to offer a tantalizing glimpse of the future. We see our our favorite characters, as well as  some of the villains, who we are absolutely salivating to see in full. First off is Victor Zsas, who seems to have some beef with Jim Gordon. Indeed, he has so much beef that he actually invades police headquarters and demands to see his target. Of course, Gordon doesn't exactly cower and hide, but instead, actually faces up to the villain. Then there is Sal Maroni, a character who was already referenced to as a rival to top gangster Falcone. He seems interested in developing Arkham Asylum, a well-known place in the DC universe. The asylum is a "prison" of sorts, for the large number of caught and defeated Batman villains. Coincidentally, Maroni is also known, in the comics, that is, for disfiguring Harvey Dent's face. We're excited to see how the TV-show handles that storyline, if it ever comes to that! On a side note, little Bruce Wayne is on the fast track, filling out his dark and brooding persona. It's pretty impressive how David Mazous is taking that character on, and we can't wait to see more! You can watch the new trailer below:
