New Patch Fixes Janky Graphics For GTA 5

Graphics have always been a bit of a problem for Grand Theft Auto 5, but with the latest patch, hopefully those issues are in the rearview mirror.

Xbox One and PS4 users have been receiving a downgraded version of GTA 5, but thanks to Rockstar Games those annoying graphical problems are no more – they gave us a new patch which cleared that all up!  Sadly for me as an XBOX 360 user this patch does not apply to my system, it is strictly to next gen. So, sorry to us poor players who aren’t rocking the next gen consoles along with everyone else. That’s okay though, PC ‘master race’ will win in the end when GTA 5 finally hits PC!

Speaking of PC, the game launches April 14, and is available to pre-load on the Rockstar Warehouse and Steam, which makes all Heists available right off the bat. Time to play catch up with the next gen folks! Don’t worry guys, I intend on having a follow-up article once I play GTA 5  on my beautiful custom PC! Anyway, if you are oh-so-curious what other fixes were applied to the patch, I suppose I can be nice and share what’s on the Rockstar support site, instead of you guys checking for yourselves.

Patch Fixes:

  • Fixes graphical issues on PS4 and Xbox One introduced after Title Update 1.08.
  • Corrects an issue where some players’ character appearances would change periodically
  • Fixes an animation issue where another player aiming on your screen would not play the correct animation
