Star Wars fans love a new toy, and this toy...well, it's awesome!
We first saw the adorable droid BB-8 in the first trailer for The Force Awakens, and, even from that point, the fandom fell for this character. The BB-8 droid is spherical in shame and was a mystery when it first appeared in the trailer, but, at the recent Star Wars Celebration, it was announced that this droid is absolutely real.
As the world readies for the release of The Force Awakens in December, the marketing machine is in full effect, and one of the available toys is the BB-8.
Though there is no release date yet for the droid toy, which is made by Sphero, we do know that you will be able to control your robot with an app on your phone and that it can roll around your home, respond to your voice, patrol the area and even receive holographic videos.
