Nick Frost Will Be Bringing A Chill To The TARDIS For The Doctor Who Christmas Special

World’s End actor Nick Frost will be bringing a little frost to the Doctor Who Christmas Special this year.

Looks like the  Doctor Who Christmas special will be a frost – Nick Frost that is who will star in the hour long episode!

Rumors have been circulating for quite some time that the Worlds End actor would be in the Christmas special, although the BBC has yet to reveal what character he will be playing.

Looks like Frost is following the fan boy footsteps of his costar and partner in crime Simon Pegg, who starred in a early episode of Doctor Who back in 2005, with then 9th Doctor and my personal favorite Christopher Eccleston.

Frost said, “I’m so thrilled to have been asked to guest in the Doctor Who Christmas special, I’m such a fan of the show. Every day on set I’ve had to silence my internal fan boy squeals!”

Doctor Who writer Steven Moffat  expressed pure joy when Frost agreed to climb aboard the TARDIS. “Frost at Christmas – it just makes sense!” Moffat and Frost has previously worked together in 2011 on the set of The Adventures of Tintin.

Until the Christmas special airs,  whovians grab your sonic screwdriver and put on your favorite fizz and make sure to continuing  watching Doctor Who Saturdays at 7:30 on BBC One.
