Nick Jonas Brings Sexy Back With 'Last Year Was Complicated' | Nick Jonas

Nick Jonas dropped his third studio album on Friday June 10th and he has come a long way from Who I Am, his first solo venture with his band The Administration.  Jonas is all grown up and far from the curly headed boy many of us fell in love with.  He's a man now and he's revealing himself with this excellent album and giving his fans a little piece of his soul.

Last Year Was Complicated shows us a darker side of the sexy Jonas bother and a side we are enjoying getting to know.  Jealous was is breakaway from acoustic guitars and bubble gum pop but this album is his transcendence into a full blown R&B king.  The songs tell a story much like Beyonce's Lemonade.  It begins with the end of a relationship and some of the bitterness that goes along with those feelings but it also explores so many things all couple go through.  It touches on intimacy and waiting to long to say things but also how sometimes you're just too scared to dive in headfirst.

Our favorite tracks off this album include:  "Champagne Problems", "Bacon", "Good Girls", "Under You", "Unhinged", "Chainsaw", "Close", and "The Difference".  That is most of the album to be honest but that's just how good this is.  And the songs we didn't mention are also excellent just not ones we're going to listen to on repeat, over and over.  The songs we mentioned are so vulnerable, sexy and dark that you might need to listen to this one alone the first time around.  Jonas brings us such gold with all these songs and the raw emotion he chose to share.  Complicated is a true accomplishment that any artist should be proud to boast.

So, what do you think of Nick Jonas' new album?  Have you listed to all the tracks?  Do you have favorites that you'd like to share with us?  Sound off in the comments and spend the weekend with Nick Jonas because we are!
