Nick Jonas Scores Again With Second Single “Jealous”

Nick Jonas wows fans and listeners with his newest single, “Jealous.” The single is already up on iTunes.

First “Chains” and now this!?

I want this album NOW.

Nick Jonas has released the second single off of his upcoming album, and yours truly is absolutely loving the direction the recently bulked up singer/actor is taking.

Titled “Jealous”, the up-tempo track is quite the departure from “Chains”, but at the same time still has that brooding, moody feel to it.

When discussing the new single with MTV News, Nick revealed the inspiration behind the track:

“‘Jealous’ is a really great representation of the range of [my debut] record and it is an up-tempo song, basically the whole concept is about jealousy,”

“It’s basically saying this girl is so f—ing beautiful that you just get jealous and you can’t help it and I think it’s something a lot of guys can relate to but are afraid to say.”

That wasn’t all though, as Nick also explained that the track came from an actual situation that happened with him and girlfriend Olivia Culpo:

I’m with my girl and [some other guys are] looking at her and I was like, I’ve just been training for three months how to be a real fighter for a TV show and I could hurt you now,” he explained. “It was a moment when I was like, I’ve got to write about that because the fact that I got so passionate about it so quickly means that there is a song there.”

This new adult sound is completely working for him and I have a feeling this former boy bander is going to skyrocket to the top of the charts.

Anyone getting some serious JT vibes from this? In the best way possible?
