Vans has entered the game!

For those who love the classic games brought to you by Nintendo, there's an all new way for people to show off their love for the company.

Nintendo and Vans have just partnered up and have just recently brought forth an exclusive collection in honor of some of the early games that some might have enjoyed on the Nintendo Entertainment, aka the NES system.

Vans will be using 8-bit inspired artwork and classic characters from games such as Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, Donkey Kong and Legend of Zelda.

Gamers can now power up their outfit with the addition of some shoes, shirts, hats, backpacks and other various accessories to show their love for the popular characters that people still appreciate many years after their introduction.

The partnership with Vans is one of a few moves by Nintendo to try to increase the amount of young people who are interested and share the passion and investment in the games that older fans have.

"Due to changes in our industry, the proportion of younger consumers who are first experiencing games on our systems has been falling," explained Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima of the company's plan to increase customer interest. "We want to have everyone become familiar with our IP by reaching as many people as possible from an early age within their daily lives."

Since Kimishima's comments in February of this year, Nintendo has also made some other moves to bring the characters people already love to an audience who might not be familiar with Nintendo's games. The company has an agreement with Converse for Mario inspired footwear and is currently trying to release toothbrushes inspired by the iconic plumber.

Nintendo even made the major move by licensing some of its characters to Universal Parks and Resorts in Orlando. The decision was finalized earlier this month and there haven't been any other details surrounding what type of attractions people can expect at Universal in the future as of yet.

While there is no definitive expected date for the new attractions at Universal Studios, the Vans Nintendo collection is available in adult and children's sizes around the world online and in stores.
