Miley Cyrus isn’t going to let anyone stop her – not her critics and certainly not Sinead O’Conner, no one. She’s got a lot to say and she’s going to say it. How is she going to get her thoughts out there? Through music, of course!
Her fourth studio album, Bangerz, will be released on October 8. However, Miley is already working on new music. While the tracks on the current CD represented who she was when they were recorded she claims, “I’m already at a different time than I was when I finished the record.”
She likes to work and she thinks it is fun to work. According to the actress and musician, it makes her happy. However, she also stated, “I need something to work for…And I think when you have the drive, that’s why I’ve been able to be successful.”
In the meantime, Miley is promoting her new album. She is also preparing to tour next year; of that fact, the singer is very excited about. “That’s the part I’ve been waiting for since I’ve been in the studio,” she explained.
It seems she wants to be liked. She enjoys hearing and seeing fans sing the lyrics to her songs. When she sees that happening it shows her that “people are listening”. To sum it up: Miley wants validation.
Even with her busy schedule, Miley made time to host Saturday Night Live, where she poked fun at herself and the current political crisis (sometimes at the same time).
Indeed, Miley has been busy. It really does not look like she is going to slow down any time soon. The artist is truly driven (for better or worse). What’s next for her? Who knows! Time will tell.
