House Of Cards is a TV show that airs every Thursday on Netflix. It’s been a success all around the world, especially among politicians, which can be exemplified in Obama’s tweet that was published yesterday (February 13): “Tomorrow: @HouseOfCards. No spoilers, please.” It’s understandable that the President doesn’t want any spoilers, because the season two premiere will be viewed today (February 14) at the DGA Theater in Hollywood, CA. After being aware of the President’s admiration, Kate Mara reacted, “It’s the coolest news ever – it’s very, very exciting and flattering,” Mara, who plays Zoe Barnes, an ambitious journalist, told The Hollywood Reporter. "And then it also really embarrasses me because I do some inappropriate things as Zoe, and I feel like it's like my dad watching. I'm like, 'Don't watch episode five!'" Also, series star Kevin Spacey told to The Hollywood Reporter about the implications of his roles and the Congressman Frank Underwood. “I’ve heard a lot from politicians – in fact, I think majority whip Kevin McCarthy is coming tonight,” and added, “If I could just kill one member of Congress, I wouldn’t have to worry about another vote.” And Constance Zimmer, who plays Zoe’s coworker, reaffirmed the show’s popularity among politicians and opened up about the cast’s experience in a dinner at the White House last year. “We ended up talking to so many people. Journalists and politicians and everybody was like, ‘Thank you. Thank you for representing us.’ The politicians love it.” Season two of the hit show is now available on Netflix!
