If you’re a huge fan of both The Walking Dead comic books and TV show, then you’ll definitely know Daryl Dixon only exists in the latter of the two. His absence from the written stories has led many a fan to create illustrations including the character. Now, something even more exciting is gonna happen in that department.
The actor playing Dixon, Norman Reedus, is actually going to collect the best of the fan works together in a book!
Reedus’ fanbase has been sending him various paintings, drawings, sketches, comic pieces and much more, of his character Dixon, for a long while now. Therefore, it’s only right he’s the one who’s going to create the compilation of it, titled Thanks For All The Niceness. The actor’s description of the awaited book reads:
“Thanks For All The Niceness is Norman’s way to show his gratitude in a compilation of artwork made by his fans. The Norman/Daryl archetype is created in tattoo designs, cakes, pencil sketches, mosaics and more. Norman selected over 100 fascinating pieces that appear in this beautifully designed book. It’s real art made by real people for real people.”
The book is currently available for pre-order, and will come out as soon as October 31. Part of the earnings from the book will be given to The Bachmann Strauss Dystonia and Parkinson Foundation. A truly Happy Halloween indeed!
The Walking Dead, of course with Norman Reedus in the role of Daryl Dixon, will return just a couple of weeks before the book’s release, on October 12, so make sure to tune in on AMC! Are you excited for this upcoming book, as well as the return of the show? Tell us in the comments below!
